The Stunning Gold Coast Beach Wedding Venue of Jen and Ben
We love to recall our past brides and grooms whom we had a great pleasure to be trusted and made part of their special day here at Gold Coast Ceremony Venues. It is such a heartwarming feeling that we often wonder what happens to our couples years after marriage and we are so grateful that Jennifer & Benjamin have shared their story.
Who would have thought that going through a fast-food drive-thru, you’ll meet your lifetime partner? Funny it may sound, but that is how Jennifer and Benjamin’s love story started where Jennifer met Benjamin at McDonald’s drive-thru.
On Jennifer’s 30th birthday, Benjamin took that as a chance to propose to her at a Thai restaurant with an engagement ring bought from Michael Hill which Jennifer absolutely love it.
When they first moved in eight years ago, Jennifer and Benjamin went to a boat cruise and found An Island Hideaway. Benjamin finds the Gold Coast Beach Wedding Venue of An Island Hideaway beautiful and planned to get married at the island. True enough, they got married at An Island Hideaway two years ago, 18th of November 2017. They made their wedding plans by themselves with the help from Michele of An Island Hideaway. They chose to have blush pink and whites as their colour theme on their special day.
Luckily on the day of their wedding ceremony, the weather went well with the sun up and a special flower arrangement made out of the artificial flower of roses and natives together in pale pinks, whites and some greenery that were arranged down to their wedding ceremony venue at the beach arbour. The bride wore a princess style wedding dress by Maggie in a Sotirios ivory with a beautiful ivory veil. Her hair was curled and up in a very natural-looking with some baby’s breath flowers. On the other hand, the groom wore a blue suit from Connor with a white shirt with pink dots under his suit jacket and paired it with tan shoes.
Her two sisters were her bridesmaids and her best friend who is her maid of honour were all looking beautiful in their dusty pink long dresses with silver shoes. Meanwhile, the groom’s men were in their blue suits with pink shirts and tan shoes. Their two sons also had a very important role in their special day. The eldest son Dominik carries the ring and the youngest son carried a sign down the aisle to his daddy saying “Here comes my Mummy”. The children look handsome in their blue suits with pink shirts.
The couple made sure to write their own vows that made the ceremony even more lovely.
The wedding reception was so amazing with the help of DJ Nik Nak who gave us a mixture to suit everyone and our dance floor was outside on the deck. The highlight of the reception was our three-tier beach wedding cake with shells. The couple decided had bomboniere or favours. They had jewellery boxes for the ladies with chocolates and the guys had a bottle opener.
The wedding celebration of the couple ended on a tropical getaway for nine days honeymoon in Thailand.
The couple often talks about their wedding day on how much they loved the island. They said it was a little getaway for their guests to go on a big boat over to the stunning island to witness them getting married. They truly had an amazing day and would do it again in a heartbeat.
