Where Does The Boat Leave From?
Our main departure location is Mariner’s Cove Marina:

For intimate wedding packages, alternate departure locations are available.
Is There Accommodation at An Island Hideaway?
No. However, An Island Hideaway is affiliated with a number of hotels / resorts within a 10 kilometre radius of the main departure location at Main Beach.
Is There Somewhere For The Bride To Get Changed On The Island?
Absolutely! An Island Hideaway has a Bridal Room for you to use prior to your ceremony and for the duration of your reception.
Does The Bride Arrive Separately To The Guests?
Of Course! We have a number of different options available for the Bride and the Groom to choose from, whether it be arriving prior to your guests, with your guests, or making a grand entrance.
Can Children Come?
Absolutely! An Island Hideaway is a child-friendly venue, and children of all ages are welcome should you wish to have children at your wedding.
Are There Toilets?
Yes! We have fully functioning toilets both on board the guest boat and on the Island, including disabled and nappy change cubicles.
Do I Need To Wear Shoes?
Well that’s up to you of course! However yes, shoes of all kinds can be worn on the Island – high heels, flats and sandals.
Is the venue wheelchair friendly?
Yes! An Island Hideaway together with the guest boat is wheelchair friendly.
What Happens If It Rains?
An Island Hideaway is an all-weather venue. With an undercover dance-floor and stage area, an undercover half-way bar, as well as our enclosed main reception room and bar which is lined with glass windows, you and your guests will enjoy the feeling of being a part of the outdoors, while still remaining protected from the elements.
