Gold Coast Function Venue – Mother’s Day
For Mother’s Day this year our Gold Coast Function Venue was transformed into a beautiful pretty in pink function area that was ready for the 125 guests coming to our luncheon!
We started our morning off as a team raising money for Breast Cancer through the Women’s Day Classic walk that went from Broadbeach to Nobby’s Beach and back. It was so fantastic to all be together for such a great cause and have our wonderful recommended suppliers walk alongside us and show their true team spirit. Broni from Love Notes and Nik from NikNat Entertainment really pulled together and got through the 5am wake up to support An Island Hideaway and of course the Mother’s Day Classic.
Before we knew it was time to get ready and head over to our Gold Coast Function Venue to transform it into the event everyone was waiting to attend!
I couldn’t believe the amount of support and interest that we had for our lunch which was raising money for the McGrath Foundation. It was mind blowing and we had to close bookings as we were at full capacity!
What a fantastic experience this was for all of the mum’s on Mother’s Day. They got to travel on a boat, win loads of prizes, have great entertainment and an all you can eat buffet! I know that my mum was having the time of her life! One of the highlights for me on this day was the Mother’s only limbo! It was so great to see everyone be a part of it and get really competitive; let me tell you there are a lot of flexible mum’s out there!
All in all, our Mother’s Day Lunch was definitely a success and wouldn’t have been possible without the support of all of the fantastic business who donated their time and resources.
