Gold Coast Function Venue – Clean Up Australia Day
Our Gold Coast Function Venue, An Island Hideaway, is so passionate about helping the environment, having a green initiative in place and keeping our property and the surrounds as beautiful as possible.
We are so lucky to be situated on four acres of protected National Bushland and to be able to give all of our guests an unforgettable experience at a truly unique destination. Our Gold Coast Function Venue will be getting involved in Clean Up Australia Day 2016 which is happening on Sunday the 6th of March! We would love for all of you to come along to our hidden paradise on this day and help us give back to the community.
If you have had your event or wedding at An Island Hideaway then you would know that we truly are a small passionate team that thrives on going above and beyond expectations! There is so much that you can do to make a difference in the world. You just have to be that person who can take the first step.
We can’t do this on our own so we need you to come and join us! This year our Gold Coast Function Venue would love to beat our record of 30 volunteers and try and make it to 50!
We will be there with our hats, sunscreen, garbage bags and smiles to help the place that we call home. We will also be hosting a sausage sizzle on the day to feed our hungry and well deserving volunteers for their great efforts.
If you aren’t able to join us on Sunday the 6th of March for Clean Up Australia Day then donations to the foundation are always welcome as they play a big part in helping communities live with the challenges that a changing climate will bring.
