A Few Words from one of the original An Island Hideaway Wedding Planners
It’s the end of the month, and what an amazing month it has been! I was given the opportunity to take a step back to where my roots began at An Island Hideaway – planning and hosting one of the most special days in a couples lives, when they get to share the love amongst family and friends. What a spectacular honour as a complete stranger.
This month I got to share the magic with several special couples, including the gentle Chantelle and Aaron. Aaron took a gamble with the weather and arrived to his grand day by speed boat. What a fine day it turned out to be for these sweet newlyweds!
Cindy and Andrew – what a sweet, sweet, sweet love. The wonderful ceremony service was conducted by Liz Jesse, and brought tears to my eyes let alone those of their guests. What a beautiful couple and what great company they shared. It’s not often we get to experience a wedding on a Tuesday, and I could not believe how much support and love was shared by all of the guests near and far – you made the most out of celebrating this day with these two obviously amazing people.
Oh my gosh, Kelly and Thomas. You could not be blessed with anymore beauty on the inside than on the outside. Adorable, with love just filling the air! Kelly was not only a beautiful Bride, but with an amazing make-up team, is looking at joining the An Island Hideaway family as a recommended supplier herself. Kelly and Thomas had a last minute change of Celebrants, and being blessed with advice from a good friend – Abby from B105 FM was chosen to officiate their ceremony, and what a genuine service she delivered.
Melissa and Glenn, wow! I originally met this couple before moving on from my position as Wedding Planner, later having a baby and then coming right back to their very Wedding Day… We were back where we started, but this time it was for real, with all the plans in place and their own gorgeous little bubba Amity. Two extremely kind-hearted human beings who would do no wrong, divine parents, warm hearts – a true making for a happy and loving home. Congratulations!
Sarah and Duane, what a couple. They were both quirky and just down right awesome. Full of fun and life! With Sarah’s contagious energy, the couple was surrounded by years of friendship and a proud mum and dad! Sarah made a grand entrance, leaving us anxious with excitement for her arrival… And then there she was – high above us waving from the Seaplane! What a spectacular grand entrance.
Caleb & Samantha – a couple like this gives you faith of the good people surrounding us. Beautiful souls committing to one another, surrounded by loving parental relationships. It was just a beautiful breath of fresh air.
Well I feel completely blessed to have shared in these magic moments and thank you for the opportunity.
I hope you have all enjoyed a fabulous Easter full of chocolate, but most of all treasured the time with your families.
Our vibrant and passionate Wedding Planner, Rainbow, is back from her trip to Tokyo! It is now time to hand the reins back, as she excels at what she does…
Congratulations to all of the newlyweds, and congratulations to all of the newly engaged couples!!! Exciting times ahead!!!
And to all those married, we wish you an everlasting relationship full of love and happiness!!!
