Beach Weddings – Kate & Jason

An Island Hideaway is a multi-award winning Gold Coast Ceremony & Gold Coast Reception Venue. Our vision is to specialise in weddings and events with a difference, delivering an experience, to be remembered forever!

We are located a short boat ride from Surfers Paradise and we will transform your dreams of a beautiful island beach wedding into reality which is exactly what we did for the absolutely stunning Kate and her charming fiancé Jason!

Kate and Jason were one of the most amazing couples to work with… you could feel just how much love they shared from being in the same room as them!

On the 28th of November, 2014 Jason was mingling with their closest friends and family at Fisherman’s Wharf Tavern, Mariner’s Cove, while his soon to be wife was sailing the Broadwater en route to An Island Hideaway.

After his journey and getting himself prepared, Jason arrived to our beach weddings destination ready to marry his gorgeous fiancé. Jason and Kate said their I do’s in our beach side chapel with their closest friends and family surrounding them!

Kate and Jason officially became a united couple and sealed it with a kiss at our beach weddings venue! Once the signing of the register was done there was only one more thing to do to concrete their relationship and that was to ring the bell of love!

Before we knew it, it was off to the surf side for some beach photos and private husband and wife time. The newly married couple were just glowing as they frolicked in the sand dunes and felt the salt water beneath their feet!
