Location of Boat - Mariners Cove Marina, Berth 95, Arm D, next to helicopter pad 60- 70 Seaworld Drive, Main Beach.

11.00am Boat Departure

Arrive to South Stradbroke Island for Live entertainment , fresh prawns, open buffet & delicatable desserts.

3.30pm/3.45pm Island Departure

4.30pm Return to Gold Coast Mainland

For the past 8 years, An Island Hideaway has been hosting Mothers Day Lunch for hundreds of,  not only Gold Coast Mum’s, but Mum’s travelling from all over to join in the celebration at An Island Hideaway.

It started as  an idea to raise money & awareness for Breast Cancer. An idea from of our event coordinator, whose Mum had beaten breast cancer, thanks to a routine mammogram the small cancer was picked up. We proudly supported the McGrath Foundation, Breast Cancer Foundation & Gold Coast Mothers Day Classic and have been able to donate profits to these amazing causes.

From here, it grew into a yearly event that people looked forward too. An event where Mum’s of all shapes, sizes, colours and cultures came together and rallied in support of not only breast cancer, but support to each other for the incredible job they do in being a Mum.
