Gold Coast Wedding Reception Venue – Jannica & David

On Saturday, 7 June 2014, a perfect winters day, the vibrant couple Jannica and David celebrated at our Gold Coast Wedding Reception Venue, An Island Hideaway, and boy, did they celebrate in style!

Jannica, her three gorgeous bridesmaids and her excitedly nervous father travelled on the luxury vessel, Newhaven, to make her grand entrance. It was picture perfect as they stepped off the boat and graced their way down the aisle to our open air beach side chapel where David and all of the guests were waiting to begin the ceremony.

After the beautiful ceremony, it was time for the reception. Our Gold Coast Wedding Reception Venue room was very tropical with sand, hurricane vases and colourful frangipanis scattered on the tables which complimented Jannica’s theme wonderfully.

No expense was spared as Jannica and David went for our Deluxe Set menu complete with pre-dinner canapés, and a delicious three course meal which was thoroughly enjoyed by our couple.

Jannica and David then had their first dance and surprised everyone with a salsa dance which they had secretly been learning! They did an awesome job and looked like they had a great time. And the talents did not stop there; David also serenaded his new wife, playing a lovely song on his guitar.

Our newlyweds and all of their guests danced the night away at our Gold Coast Wedding Reception Venue to the live band, Knights of Columbus, before being farewelled at the end of the night through a sparkler tunnel with all of their guests.
