This hot topic is probably something that may not be considered as a major thought when you are planning your wedding but it should definitely but up there. All eyes are on you in that moment when you take to the aisle so the last thing that you want to do is trip up. Our 3 top tips to walking the aisle perfectly for your special day;
- Comfort! – Make sure that you pick comfort over style. You are only walking the aisle and at that point (depending on your dress) no one will even see your shoes. Most of our brides like to go barefoot at our Gold Coast Function Venue purely for the comfort factor. It’s so nice to be able to feel the sand and earth beneath your toes. You can always put on your stunning heels after the “I do’s”.
- Overthinking – Don’t overthink the walk. Make sure that you just walk how you would any day of the week. If you overthink it and are focusing on putting one foot in front of the other you are most likely to stumble so just go with the flow.
- Think about your Bridesmaids – It’s not only you walking down the aisle it’s also your lovely bridal party. Make sure that you have practice runs with your girls to the music you have chosen so they know exactly what they are doing. There is nothing worse than having one bridesmaid run down the aisle and the other one walk so slow that the song finishes.
