Gold Coast Ceremony Venue – Karissa & Dan

An Island Hideaway is an exclusive, award winning Gold Coast Ceremony Venue located just a short boat journey from the heart of the Gold Coast. Our venue was awarded the Australian Bridal Industry Academy Award (ABIA award) for Queensland’s Best Ceremony Venue in 2013 and 2010; and were finalists in 2014, 2012, and 2011.

Our four acre Gold Coast Ceremony Venue offers a variety of naturally beautiful ceremony locations. We have a private beach landing, an open air chapel, lush tropical gardens or a Balinese style hut.

The beach landing is great for those who want the sand between their toes. It is overlooking the calm Broadwater as the gentle waves wash up on the beach. Some couples choose to have an arbour, which makes the setting just a bit more special.

Our open air chapel is also by the beach but offers a slightly more traditional feel. Walk down the aisle past your guests seated on wooden pews to the end with stained glass windows as your backdrop.

Our tropical gardens also offer something different for the bride and groom. The surrounding green foliage provides a lovely setting as you say your “I do’s”.

Lastly, there is the Balinese style hut which is also commonly used for the signing of the wedding register once the ceremony has taken place. The Bali hut is set over a tranquil lily pond and is a great option for intimate weddings.

The lovely Karissa & Dan who were married on Saturday, the 17th of May 2014 chose the beach landing for their Gold Coast Ceremony Venue location and were joined by 70 of their family and friends.

Karissa & Dan celebrated not only their ceremony but also their reception at An Island Hideaway and took advantage of the naturally beautiful island landscapes for their photos.
