Gold Coast Beach Wedding –Farewell Gary Taylor

As 2015 comes to a close it is with deep sadness and also excitement that we farewell one of the most dedicated and loyal members of our An Island Hideaway family. Our wonderful celebrant, Gary Taylor is leaving as he sets out on this new adventure of his life which is better known as retirement!

As most of you who have been married with us before would know, we don’t usually like to recommend celebrants as it is such a personal decision and connection that needs to be made by yourselves. However we have always been happy to mention Gary as we just know that he has a great gift of being able to connect with people and his services are always beyond exceptional so we have never had anything but positive feedback.

Our Gold Coast Beach Wedding destination has been lucky enough to have Gary Taylor as a part of our tight knit family for the past 11 years. He is so amazing; over those years he has married a whopping 576 couples at An Island Hideaway! Gary’s happy nature has made such an impact on some people lives that he has continued on to marry all the siblings in some families as well as even doing christenings and funerals for bride’s and groom’s loved ones.

We are so sad to be losing such an amazing person, however there comes a point where everyone who works hard deserves to enjoy their retirement and that is definitely what Gary and his gorgeous wife, Mary are doing.

All of the team at An Island Hideaway want to wish Gary so much love and happiness on his next journey and we truly hope that you enjoy every single moment of his time not working! Gary will certainly be missed and we just can’t imagine the ceremonies without his smiling face there.
