Destination wedding Gold Coast, An Island Hideaway, your home away from home!
An Island Hideaway is situated on four acres of National Park on South Stradbroke Island. We are located just a short boat ride from the very heart of the Gold Coast and are surrounded by the beautiful Broadwater! Our Brides & Grooms are given the luxury of having a secluded beach wedding where they have the feel of the island but are also chauffeured to the beach side for some classic photo opportunities. This way they are able to capture the beauty of the whole island and have the best of both worlds!
On the 25th of October 2014, Alla & Deane were our lucky couple that were privileged enough to call An Island Hideaway home for the day & night! This beautiful couple had a very intimate wedding with seventeen of their closest friends and family accompanying them!
Alla sailed to our destination wedding Gold Coast via a Luxury Catamaran called POSSMM. While she was sipping on champagne with her loved ones and enjoying the beautiful blue skies and clear water, Deane was flying high in the sky with his groomsmen before landing at An Island Hideaway!
Alla & Deane were such a lovely couple and spoke real words from their hearts! It wasn’t long before they were officially married by the fantastic Janet Pearson at our Bali hut!
The newly married couple were swept away to the beachside and were lucky enough to have the most perfect weather with not a cloud in the sky. Our gorgeous recommended photographer, Diana Wakeham, was really able to capture the love and beauty that these two shared as they enjoyed some alone time and each other’s company.
