Sarah & Lino’s Islander Beach Wedding

I am one of those people who could live every day on a beach basking in the sun’s rays. So, when I see a wedding like this one, it screams ‘Perfect Beach Wedding’ to me!

Taking full advantage of their beach setting, Sarah and Lino tied the knot on our picturesque landing. For this family-oriented couple, throwing a large wedding was a must. They united as one in front of 150 guests, some whom travelled from Tonga to be present!

As a hairdresser by trade, Sarah was blessed with the skills to create a simple yet gorgeous hair-do on not only her bridesmaids, but herself too. While we love the tried-and-true trend, Sarah proved that robes are not the only comfy getting-ready ensemble out there! The Bridesmaids mixed things up by opting for gorgeous matching dresses. These lucky girls will definitely get use out of them again – they look beautiful!

Personalising your wedding, celebrating your traditions and honouring your heritage are beautiful acts of love and respect, for both your spouse and your family. Sarah and Lino introduced elements of Lino’s Tongan heritage through his and the groomsmen’s attire, an incredible aisle runner and a very sweet dance performed by family, just to name a few! Incorporating customs and traditions to a wedding is not only a fantastic way to share something personal with guests, but a nice tribute to the families.

There is perhaps no other flower that says beach wedding than gorgeous frangipanis. Frangipanis bloom everywhere along our beaches. As one of our Australia’s iconic beach flowers, they made the perfect beach wedding decoration for this Aussie/Islander wedding.
