Queensland Island Wedding Venue – Sammi & Liam

The wonderful Sammi & Liam were married at Queensland Island Wedding Venue, An Island Hideaway on the 9th June 2012.

What an absolutely awesome and fun couple! Sammi was a gorgeous stress-free bride and Liam the Irish footballer, well we all had a little trouble understanding his accent!

After a few hiccups along the way, a last minute tummy-bug and their Irish guests with their feet firmly planted on Aussie soil,  Sammi & Liam’s day was finally here.

We booked An Island Hideaway based purely on the beautiful website – we didn’t even know a viewing could be arranged. 

We didn’t know where to start; all we knew was that the venue had to be special for us and our many guests coming from Ireland, England, interstate and intrastate.  When we finally saw the place in person, we knew we had made the right decision for our special day.

From the first contact with Erin, Michelle, Wayne and Mindy, they made us feel totally at ease.  All our questions were answered and then some!!  In spite of a couple of hiccups along the way, they came to the rescue!

The team made our special day even more special.  We loved every aspect of the day.  Our guests loved the laid back nature and warmth of the staff.
