An Island Hideaway is a venue that specialises in functions and weddings with a difference, delivering an experience to be remembered forever. We are a four acre island paradise located on the Gold Coast’s South Stradbroke Island which is just a short boat journey from Main Beach.

We often get asked, “How do we get to and from South Stradbroke Island?” The answer is simple; a privately chartered vessel will take you to An Island Hideaway and will also take all of your guests back to the mainland at the end of your event.  We can arrange your boat transfers as well as your entertainment and decorations so there is one less thing for you to worry about.

Our Gold Coast Function Venue can cater for 2 people to 200 hundred people and we offer a range of menu options from cocktail, to your choice of buffet items or a set menu style lunch or dinner. Our venue offers a relaxed and tranquil environment while maintaining the highest standard of service delivered by our friendly staff.

If you are looking to have a birthday celebration, corporate event, or end of year Christmas party we can offer you a tailored package to suit your event and budget.
