Clean Up Australia Day

What a fantastic day it was at An Island Hideaway on South Stradbroke Island on the 4th March 2012 – Clean Up Australia Day.

Spirit’s were high as 125 volunteer’s boarded Spirit of Gold Coast and made it’s way to An Island Hideaway to commence South Stradbroke Island’s biggest clean up yet.

6 teams set off within a 3km radius of An Island Hideaway to target high filled rubbish area’s, in total collecting 87 bags of rubbish, a kitchen sink, a couple of rusty crab pots, a wheely bin with 1 1/2 hours!
