Where do we begin………………….THANK-YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
I fell in love with Gold Coast Wedding Venue An Island Hideaway the first time I saw it. It was set-up for a wedding and we got a sneak look through before the bridal party arrived. I knew then, that this was the place I wanted to get married at [Davey had no say ;-)] ALL of our guests have told us it was perfect from start to finish with some saying it’s the best wedding they have ever been too. The boat trip over and the island setting with all of those special touches you guys add-in – MAGICAL.
Wayne – everyone just raved about your food!!
Michelle / Mindy / Erin – for getting those organza sashes in just for us, for the support and communication leading up to our big day, gosh and so many other things I will probably remember after I have hit the send button on this email.
The AIH recommended suppliers we used were also fantastic;
– Flowers by Keren. Just stunning, she listened to my ideas and then honed them with her expertise. I was just blown away.
– Gary Taylor, Wedding Celebrant. He was a minefield of information and support. He has such a calming, reassuring manner which for any Bride to Be is critical. And he just adds in those extra touches free of charge (the bubbles in the photos look amazing). We cannot speak highly enough of him and his service.
– Debonnaire. Wow what voices! They even went out of their way to learn some Country numbers just for us. We have had numerous requests from our guests to see if they are playing gigs at a pub etc where they can go and see them again. William walking around and singing to the crowd and getting the “wanna-be” crooners to have a sing while dinner was in progress was so unexpected. But again, it just worked like magic making the night extra special. At no point were our guests not entertained. And there I was fretting about having a Wedding where no-one would get up and dance……how wrong was I. They were all up boogeying as soon as we left for photos. I kept asking our Photographer if we were finished yet because I just wanted to get back in and join them on the dance floor as well. William is an expert at reading the crowd and knowing just what to include. He covered all ages from 6 years to 83 years. They all loved it.
And finally a word from Dave……….I fully concur with Wendy’s comments above. Our gratitude to the AIH team for making a truly magical day even more special.
