Gold Coast Garden Wedding – Gbemie & Mene
WOW! This Gold Coast Garden Wedding was something that you would see in a movie. Gbemie & Mene were married on the 1st of August 2015 and it was one of the most colourful and energetic weddings that we have ever experienced.
Gbemie’s gorgeous bridesmaids were lighting up our chapel with their bright yellow and orange bridesmaid’s dresses and we were completely blown away but then Gbemie walked out of the bridal change room and we couldn’t keep our eyes off her. She looked like an absolute goddess and brought Mene to tears! The vibe around this Gold Coast Garden Wedding was pure happiness and excitement.
From the moment that Gbemie & Mene said their I do’s in our chapel it was party time. Everyone made their way down to our Bali hut and we had them signed, sealed and delivered. The music was pumping and the guests were up dancing all night long.
I am sure, when I say this that I speak on behalf of all of the staff here at An Island Hideaway, that Gbemie & Mene’s guests had some of the best moves we have ever seen! It was like we were surrounded by professional dancers the whole time. Once the reception started, the entrance of the bridal party had the whole room up and dancing and our unbelievable recommended photographer, Leah from Follett Photography, captured all of it.
It wasn’t just the vibrant colours, the beauty of Gbemie and the dancing that had us captivated… Their wedding cake was an amazing sculpture of a magical sand castle with swans taking the newlyweds for a ride. The one metre high masterpiece was designed by Mene himself and made by Yener’s Cakes. It was a fantastic feature in our Gold Coast Garden Wedding reception room.
