The fantastic Nik from NikNat Entertainment has sent us a few words on why he loves working at our Gold Coast Ceremony Venue… He has been voted as Queensland’s best wedding DJ so he really knows what he is doing! We love him to bits and he really is part of the team.

“Why we love working with the team from An Island Hideaway. Anyone who follows us on Facebook will see that we do quite a number of our weddings at An Island Hideaway. We simply LOVE this venue. In our industry, we get the opportunity to see a lot of venues and we can honestly say that An Island Hideaway is one of our favourites. Not only is the location perfect with its sub-tropical feel, beautiful lawns and of course the beach, but the staff that work there are nothing short of amazing.

The venue is only as good as the team that run it, and this team are elite wedding professionals. When possible, we like to meet each couple we will have the pleasure of providing our services to. It is very common to hear couples saying that they feel like they are “missing something”. That more somehow needs to be done. In fact, this is not the case, it is just that the staff of An Island Hideaway are SO good at their jobs they take a lot of the stress away from the bridal couple.

We know that even the tiniest aspects of the wedding day will have been handled expertly by the staff. They truly leave no stone unturned. Every time we step off the boat and cross the boardwalk, it feels like we have left the world behind and all the worries that go with it.
