Destination Wedding – Hannah & Ryan

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an absolute delight it was to be a part of Hannah and Ryan’s Destination Wedding at An Island Hideaway – talk about love in the air!

This absolutely beautiful couple travelled down from the Sunshine Coast with 67 of their nearest and dearest to tie the knot.  Even more special for Hannah is a number of their guests had travelled from England to be there for her special day. It was a privilege to be able to showcase our beautiful National Park with these visitors… a beach themed Destination Wedding they’ll never forget!

Hannah chose to kick off her big day with a Sea Plane grand entrance by Cloud Nine. The beautiful Follett Photography was there to capture the epic arrival. Meanwhile, guests and the groom waited eagerly in the chapel for the ceremony to begin. Hannah and Ryan selected the open-air chapel to enhance the formal but fun style of the wedding. The bridal party were hidden on the beach behind the foliage and one by one made their way up to the chapel.

Although the day was a little overcast and we received light rain throughout the evening, the all-important family, bride and groom photos were captured – and as you can see, they are undeniably beautiful! A little rain never stops a talented photographer from capturing beautiful memories, such as these.

Also worthy of a mention is Just Grooves – their great mix of contemporary and old school music set a cool vibe that lasted throughout the night. It was evident that the guests loved the jams, as they were up dancing all night long!

It was an absolute privilege to host a Destination Wedding for Hannah & Ryan and share with their international guests the beauty of Australia.
